Hentec is looking for a technical sales engineer to work closely with our sales manager. You will play an important role in our relationship with both our customers and our suppliers:
- thyssenkrupp Rothe Erde (Slewing bearings and seamless rolled rings)
- ITH Bolting Technology (Bolting tools and fasteners)
We are market leaders in terms of quality, value and high end, optimized products. We strive for excellent customer service combined with a deep technical understanding.
Your Tasks
What you will be doing:
- Handling technical inquiries
- Follow-up of sales quotations
- Order handling
- On-time delivery control
- Work with customers for product optimization
Skills
We expect you to have:
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering
- Good language skills, primarily Finnish, Swedish and English. German is beneficial.
- Experience and understanding of the B2B sales process
- Good customer service skills
- Practical mechanical engineering skills are a benefit
Profile
Our ideal candidate is/has:
- More than 3 years of sales experience
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- Proactive, positive, and open minded
- Sense of detail (and humour), readiness to do some administrative tasks
- Comfortable calling customers and suppliers
